We believe in the magic and power of creativity, and like to meet students where they’re at. While we offer many different projects each week, there are never any requirements. This is a real studio for artists to explore! Summer programs are mixed age in small groups.
Each day is broken into two sections with similar programming for each section.
Sign on for one or both sections each week! Daily sign ons are also available.

Week of June 23th
Sculpture week! Make sculptures from a variety of materials, including cardboard, plaster, wire, and wood. Explore our vast mixed media bin of treasures and create unique sculptures! As always, there will also be tie dye, drawing, sketchbooking, and canvas painting.

Week of July 14th
Cities week! Make your own tea maps and design your own cities with mixed media materials. Make a light-up “apartment building” lantern from a cereal box. Of course, there will also be tie dye, drawing, sketchbooking, and canvas painting.

Week of July 21st
Wearable art and sewing week! Paint tote bags and design t-shirts, including learning how to batik (painting with wax). Make a stuffed animal, and learn embroidery. As usual, there will also be tie dye, drawing, sketchbooking, and canvas painting.

Week of July 28th
Book week! Learn how to marble paper and create our own tiny books, zines, and altered books. Expect lots of collage, painting, and cutting. Of course, there will also be tie dye, drawing, sketchbooking, and canvas painting.

Miniatures week! Design your own environment with dioramas, sculpey clay creations, and terrariums. Plus, expect the ususal tie dye, drawing, sketchbooking, and canvas painting.
