April vacation is almost here!
April 16th - 19th Tuesday-Friday 

AWA will be up and running 9-2 daily with sign ons by the week or day. All classes are mixed age.

Expect lots of creative explorations including clay, painting, drawing, building and some sewing. We love sketchbooks, so as always, sketchbooks for all!

Tuition $440 for four days and $120 per day.

So far we have two afternoons on the schedule. Add on or come to the studio for the afternoon.

Additionally, students will delve into a collaborative writers' room, where they collectively shape narratives and characters, unleashing their creativity.

February Break Workshops And Class! Summer On My Mind :)

This year for February break we are trying something new. We will be offering a variety of workshops as well as some classic Art with Amy studio time. Sign on for as much as you'd like! Friday is not on the schedule yet. This may change.

For clay classes Kim is open to working with your child outside of the designed project. For Yolanda's stained glass project students will be cutting glass so this is for 4th graders and up.

Most classes can be intergenerational so if you'd like to sign on for a workshop with your child you are welcome!

Hello all! 

We hope you'll join us for our new seven week fiber arts class at Art with Amy in Brookline Village! Class starts Monday, January 22nd.

This is  an Intergenerational class- middle schoolers, teens and adults! Meeting Mondays 3-6 starting in January. Seven spaces open as of today.


Dahlia Popovits, master weaver and designer, will be in the studio offering a variety of fiber techniques including weaving on a rigid heddle loom, spinning, crochet, embroidery, pattern making, and hand sewing. Each one of these textile techniques will build on one another and will culminate with a uniquely and professionally finished handwoven, embellished, stitched and assembled project.

Space In Friday After School Class/ Upcoming Classes And Workshops

Upcoming classes and workshops!
I am excited for all the great programming we have going on in the studio! 

We have space for two students in our after school Friday class. These spaces are for grades 5-8. 

Our current class is a hard working group of people most often independently driven. This year students have been creating clay dolls, working on large paintings and drawing in sketchbooks.  If this sounds like a good fit to you please reach out!
As part of our occasional visiting artists series this coming Friday we are expecting a visit from local artist Eric Jin Rubenstein to talk about sketchbooking/ creating characters. 

We have two spaces open in this Monday's Intergenerational stained glass jewelry workshop with local artist Yolanda Yang. Meeting Sept. 17th 3-5. I'm taking Yolanda's class myself! Looking forward to learning how to use a soldering iron! Yolanda will be in the studio several Mondays offering a variety of workshops. Full list here.

Our first Monday workshop is September 18th 3-5

Hi all!

Our first Monday workshop is coming up on September 18th 3-5. Local artist Yolanda Yang will be in the studio teaching stained glass jewelry. We have three open spaces and a mix of ages including adults signed on. Students will be learning to solder so for this one we are starting with grades five and up. Tuition for this workshop is $50 including all materials.

Thank you for making this an amazing art filled summer!

I've been working on adding extra dynamic programming to our studio offerings! Folks have been asking for middle school options so kicking these off here! Also, preschool and that's here too! 

There's more coming soon including a homeschool class and weekend offerings so stay tuned! As always, please feel free to email with any questions. 

Most of our after school classes are just about full. We do have space for ages 4th grade and up. For Fridays we have space for 6th grade and up. Each class has mixed ages and we love the smaller class model. We do keep wait lists.

Zine workSHOP Sunday morning with Milo!

Milo is here from NYC so we decided to offer this special
Make a Zine (tiny book) workshop!
This Sunday,August 20th 10:00-11:30 
All ages are invited! We've seen teens and young kids AND adults love this project so truly all welcome. We ask that students younger than 5 be accompanied by a guardian.

We will be making tiny books, collaging and drawing!

This week!

We have three spaces open for Thursday and Friday 8:30-1:00. Cam is in the studio working with students on canvas paintings (pictured above), dioramas and clay!

Milo is in the studio afternoons this week 2:30-6:00 daily. This grouping ended up to be teens and preteens. It's a week of mixed media explorations. Batik tshirts, canvases and lots of drawing!

Next week!

I am back in the studio 8:30-1:00 and inspired to get to work with students! The morning is filled but sometimes there are cancellations so email to be on our wait list.

Collage and studio materials are also available for whatever you can imagine and Michelle will be there to support your exploration.

Week of August 14th is another heavy hitter!

Cameron will be in the studio 8:30-1:00 Students will be making painted canvas rugs, printmaking, building, sketchbooking and in general following our muse! Daily sign ons welcome

Milo Returns! Hours: 2:00-6:00 This class is forming as a preteen/teen class. Students will be creating mixed media art, painting, batik explorations ( painting with wax ) and drawing and YES following our muse! Daily sign ons welcome.
